Haare waschen ist... - Washing my hair

Schon der dritte Tag postOP und ich durfte duschen UND sogar Haare waschen. Man glaubt ja gar nicht, wie sehr das dem allgemeinen Wohlbefinden hilft, auch wenn man natürlich gar nicht „dreckig“ war vom Herumliegen und faktisch noch fast gar nichts Tun. Aber ich fand’s super und habe mich auch gleich mit dem ersten „öffentlichen“ Bild bedankt.

Day 3 post-op and yes, now I dare to give you a picture of my whole face again. The swelling is turning down slowly but steadily, my eye-sight is not fully back cause my left eye still sees corners where the right eye won’t, but we‘re getting there!! And my surgeon said, they didn’t touch the eye nerve at all, so... Today‘s a holiday here in Northrhine-Westfalia and some other German states, Corpus Christi, and though I do not intend to make fun of the church in any way, it’s my personal „corpus of Christi(na) day“ too 😅 I was allowed to take a shower AND wash my hair. How amazingly good that felt is probably hard to understand for you guys out there, but for me it felt like success!! Only a little headache now from the bending down when drying my legs, but I took my meds and wait for breakfast now. Wishing you all a good day 😘
