Kaum zu glauben, aber wahr: diesen Eintrag (siehe Link zu IG) habe ich am Tag NACH der OP verfassen können. Schon wieder die ersten Schritte im Zimmer, auf dem Krankenhausflur und sogar eine Treppe im Treppenhaus geschafft... Nur mein Gesicht wollte ich nicht sofort zeigen, weil meine linke Gesichtshälfte doch zunächst sehr ordentlich angeschwollen war und ich lt. Freunden und Familie, die’s trotzdem sehen durften, eine gewisse Ähnlichkeit mit Rocky Balboa teilte.

First day post-op... I’m already able to stand up again, take a little walk round the patients floor and obviously write a message to you. Only bad thing is my looks - since part of my skin had to be pressed over my forehead and the temples it has swollen a lot and makes me look as if I‘d been in a proper fist fight. Well, you haven’t seen the others... But also I will NOT post a picture of my face here as long as it’s as bad as this. 

Yet, I‘m in a good mood, the headache is bearable so far and my left side will eventually look better again. And the doctor said the meningioma was completely removed!!
